2 Day Tactical First Responder Trauma Course

This introductory course has been designed and intended for any individual with basic medical knowledge and skills to treat wounds that are common in defensive encounters and other emergency situations. Through both Lecture and scenario-based training, students will gain the confidence to be able to react to, assess, and treat a variety of injuries.

  • Improvised Treatment Methods
  • Constructing your Personal IFAK
  • * Block of Instruction on the Rescue Task Force Concept
  • *Block of Instruction on Basic Close Quarter Battle ( CQB)

Course Duration: 2 days

* Directions to the range: Once you exit Sierra from the 15N FWY, the range is 10 miles into the mountains on the right hand side when the pavment hits the dirt road. ** There is NO cell service once you enter the mountains and on the range

RANGE & GEAR REQUIREMENTS: Bring your handgun and all required supplies for concealed carry, eye and ear protection, etc. If you have a personal medical kit or IFAK, bring that. You can even bring plate carriers and plates, or any duty gear, if you want to. 200 rounds of training ammo.

Rugged clothing, kneepads, wrap–around eye protection and gloves. Military, Law Enforcement and Security members can bring “full kit”. Your clothing could potentially get ripped, stained, or become unserviceable after some skill stations, so bring some throw-away items. Bring Sac lunch and Water!
