One intense weekend of Firearms, Medical and Survival Training brought to you by Tailored Defense Training Group. Challenge your limits.


Join Aquil Bey, a retired Master Sergeant and U.S. Army Green Beret for an intense weekend of training several types of skills, including: 



Firearms Training will occur on a shooting range. We will cover team shooting tactics, communication, shooting positions, using cover, working in an around vehicles and other combat shooting tactics and techniques.  This is not a beginners firearms class, students should have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of firearm safety and weapons handling.


Medical Training:

Medical Training will cover basic trauma, Stop the Bleed, first aid in low visibility, and more.


Communication Training:

Teams will learn how to communicate in live fire scenarios, survival communications, and more.


Survival Training:

Survival Training will include the procurement of food, water, shelter, fire building and more.


This class will be 2 and 1/2 days of intense training. Students should be prepared to walk several miles, operate with limited sleep, and be able to navigate difficult terrain.

Students will be sleeping and eating on premises. There will be a refrigerator and freezer on premises to store food. We will likely be eating breakfast and lunch while we train. Dinner will be provided on Friday and Saturday night. You are responsible for your food for all other meals/snacks. Water will be available but we recommend you bring plenty of your own.



  • Carbine in reliable, clean, working order
  • At least 3 extra magazines
  • Sling
  • Zeroed optics or sights (extra batteries)
  • Weapon mounted flashlight with extra batteries
  • Center fire handgun in reliable, clean, working order (with extra magazines)
  • High quality holster
  • Mag carrier for handgun and rifle magazines
  • 300 rounds rifle ammo
  • 300 rounds handgun ammo
  • Cleaning kit (including lube)
  • Hat
  • Eye and Ear pro
  • Quality boots (hiking)
  • Water carrier (camel pack, water bottle that can be carried on body)
  • Pens/Markers
  • Notepad
  • Flashlight (non weapon mounted) with extra batteries
  • Something to sleep in/on (tent, cot, etc. There is room to sleep under cover if you bring a cot)
  • Durable clothing
  • Any required medications

  • Long sleeve clothing
  • Pants
  • Sunglasses
  • Extra socks
  • Scarf/neck covering
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug Spray
  • Chest rig or pack
  • Lip balm
