The instructors at Front Sight Solutions adapt to shooters of all experience and manage to make each one of them better while still having attention on the entire group. Amazing instructors! Very knowledgeable and make the class fun but safe at the same time! I thought myself a good shooter but they worked with me to correct some of my “bad” shooting habits! Great environment I would call it a shooters playground. The instructors are laid back easy gong and make you feel like your just out shooting with friends. As an instructor it was great to take training with Front Sight Solutions in Hinkley Illinois and I look forward to take more with them before the year ends.

Great team of instructors at Front Sight Solutions in Hinkley Illinois! i just got back from the basic carbine course and i had a lot of fun shooting with these guys. the team is very professional and knowledgeable. i would recommend training with this team to anyone, beginner to advanced shooters. i’ve been shooting for almost 20 years and i like to go back to fundamentals and run a basic course with both rifle and pistol. this was one of the best basic carbine course i’ve attended. i will be attending another course with these guys soon.

Just completed the Basic Carbine with Front Sight Solutions in Hinkley Illinois and highly recommend taking this class!!! I just purchased my first long gun (AR15) and wanted to get some training on how to use it properly. The instruction was excellent!!! I definitely left more confident using my AR and my aim improved tremendously. This class was also a lot of fun and included different training techniques!!! I intend on taking some of their other classes as well.

Gary & the Front Sight Solutions team in Hinkley Illinois do a great job. Came out my first time last Saturday for their Dynamics of Defensive Shooting class. Felt like a day on the range with the guys but took away quite a few great tips & skills to improve my shooting. Anyone can pull a trigger so it’s easy to think you don’t need to spend time training. But actually getting situational practice with your own gear is so helpful to figure out where the faults are in your own habits & with your gear. Being a concealed carry permit holder, I found the class extremely helpful. I’ll be back for some of the advanced pistol classes & rifle classes.

My dad and I went to Front Sight Solutions in Hinkley Illinois for an open range Industry Day. We’re both new to shooting and Gary took a solid two hours to teach us the basics of gun safety, handling, and target shooting. We will definitely go back for more classes.

Gary and the crew at Front Sight Solutions in Hinkley Illinois run an outstanding program. Great mixture on courses of fire and adapts the class very well to each shooter’s level (not pushing the newer shooters to hard and at the same time not slowing down the more experienced). I Took the skills and drills class and will definitely be back for more in the future. Hard to beat shooting outdoors as well Thanks Gary for the great experience.

This is HANDS DOWN the MOST EXCITEMENT you can find in Illinois, when it comes to firearm situational training! Gary and Sean with the rest of the crew at Front Sight Solutions really have you practicing the pillar principles of scenario training with live fire. The satisfying report of steel banging away and paper targets getting punched in an outdoor setting is great education and practice. I have referred all of my friends who shoot in the dim hallways of a range to check it out. I’ll be the first one to tell you that punching paper in a range is easy, wait until your moving and shooting! That’s when your faults are found. I highly recommend this class to anyone who ever has or plans on handling a firearm.

This is a great class to take for anyone that is serious about learning on how to handle a gun, and protect your self, and family.
This are great X-Military professionals that love shooting as much as I do.

Just finished the advanced defensive shooter class on 6/4/17 with Front Sight Solutions in Hinkley Illinois. Very intensive, very well taught class. This class showed me that my ” competition” experience is vastly different than “real world” defensive shooting situations. The “combat” mindset is emphasized and reinforced by several different shooting techniques and scenarios. Bottom line, this was an awesome class, and Gary was a great instructor. Took my first pistol class today with ladies with all levels of pistol experience. Gary was very informative with all aspects of shooting. From safety, loading, holster use and trouble shooting. I came to this class Defensive Vehicle Operations I to practice and learn some shooting styles/techniques for when we come across the wrong people on the streets. Going into this place knowing it was only going to be about 35• It blew my expectations! This is real life and the real deal to train in rain sleet snow rain etc. We did a lot of shooting techniques from inside the car to the ground to the knees, and let me tell you, I couldn’t believe how fast the time has passed and the weather will not stop you from having a good time! I will be definitely participating again. Really great instructors to correct you on your form and are there to teach you what you want to learn. Great experience and great people at Front Sight Solutions in Hinkley Illinois!

We have taken classes with and have gone to a few open range days with Front Sight Solutions and have been very happy with what they do. I always feel that safety is number one while being able to thoroughly enjoy our time there. I am an NRA certified range safety officer (RSO) myself and my husband is an RSO and NRA certified instructor and we feel that we receive top notch training while there. Gary is a great guy and and he and his team are awesome! They are very attentive and offer solutions when they see something that can be improved upon in a very comfortable and helpful manner. They are willing to spend some time one on one explaining the hows a why’s to help improve your shooting (I am a very experienced pistol shooter but need to work on my rifle) during open range days. Open range days are only $65 a person which is really reasonable for 4+hours of instructor lead training. They do a great job working with all experience levels of shooters. Overall I look forward to attending more of these events and highly recommend their training and range days.

Ernie, Gary and Shawn are great instructors with a no-bullshit attitude. They are confident in their abilities, while also not being full of themselves (something I’ve seen in instructors from other companies). I will be coming back for more classes with Front Sight Solutions in the future!
